Finally starting to seriously learn programming.

I'm a HTML guy. period.

But hey! Learning abit of javascripting helps in understanding C++ quite ALOT i guess. Ah! But really, i don't know i learn for what. Is there anything program i need or want to make? Basically, no.

So what am i learning for? I guess purely just for knowledge and fun.

So many things i wanna learn. Feel like giving up on studies and concentrate on learning computer stuffs ley. but oh wells. Guess i better not make up my mind so quickly.

Well, it is actually supposed to be better. In the sense that it's integrated or wdv lah. But it seems like i REALLY need to get a new graphic card.
Nvidia. My first choice.

Reason? This fucking crap only has 2D acceleration. No 3d acceleration, no direct rendering. Which has caught me in surprise how i was able to play those games kinda smoothly. Guess wasted alot of ram and CPU power to generate those crappy scenes.

AH. When it's time, i'll ask for a new graphic card. And i can recover my 256mb ram lost to the stupid card. Den it can operated 1/3 times faster than now.

Quite a nice show i must say. A guy living with 5 teachers. All chio bu, den 2sisters. 1is so damn cute. the other is a star singer.

I mean, changing it to Linux isn't a bad thing. The bad thing is that i cannot change it back. ==ll

OH yea, it has wonderfully totally formatted my file-system and i find no ball to how i can recover my XP using my recovery disk.

But hey. It isn't that bad. I guess.

Since this is the case. I'm FORCED to learn how to use linux. Or just die without my computer. So basically, up till now, i've learnt that, Linux, for you to operate, it's like using DOS on windows.

And i mean, not just for fun. This time, you use it for work. Or rather, you'll need it for your system to work.

So well, compelled by the circumstances, i'm currently reading a probably 200page or more worth of information about my computer and how to operate it. (still reading it) And i hope i can complete reading by around 2am. 2hrs should be enough. I guess.

But one more thing. This system is obviously faster than XP. In a sense that, XP has everything preloaded and some extra stuffs that you don't exactly need like those stuffs which prevents your hack from working... But hey, Linux took me 5secs to boot after the Splash Screen. Not bad at all!

Well, for those who don't know what i am blabbering about. Just change to Linux. And i'll see how you die. =D

I've successfully and officially screwed my system up.

Today, July 26th 2007.
I reformatted my computer to use Ubuntu LINUX system.

It wasn't at all bad. Until i realised that. This system. Is 100% TOTALLY open sourced. I mean. Well, it's what i wanted anyways. So that i can learn programming more easily in this kinda environment.

But i guess this is abit too much for me to take in 1shot.

Instead of installing programs and configuring options. I'll just be editing the system file text and see what happens. Which is something i wasn't really good at from the start.

Haix. There's always more to what meets the eye.

AHHH!!! Forget it. Guess i'll spend my weekends updating it. yawns.

- TC ( Trusted Computing )
This is the most lethal and fatal to all game cheaters. However, this won’t get implemented so soon. And yes, this is the technology (Palladium) that Microsoft claimed that will stop all virus, malware and spyware… ( But the fact is: It doesn’t stop any virus/malware/spyware… )

Maybe you will wonder, so what if TC allows music publisher to delete pirated MP3s on my computer without my consent, or what if Trusted Computing allows Microsoft to format my computer if they think my Windows is pirated ( Very oftenly, Microsoft mistaken a fully licensed Windows for a pirated one. )

We should pay attention to a technology in TC, that is memory curtaining. That is, the CPU will disallow anyone from reading a piece of memory, not to mention writing to it. This is implemented from hardware level, and is very easy to bypass: ( Try it at your own risk. )
- Shutdown your computer
- Yank the CPU off the main board, get a hammer and smash it to pieces.
- Yank the TPM ( Trusted Platform Module ) off the main board.
And you are done, but your computer won’t start anyway…
The memory curtain feature is impossible to bypass, unless you follow the steps above ( destroy the hardware ), or miracles happened.

You might think: Ha! Luckily, they haven’t implement it in the hardware yet. When they start selling hardwares with these terrible features, I can just refuse to buy them!

Then too bad, you are wrong. All PCs sold in 2006 comes with the TC, some in 2005 comes with the TC. Just that the software ( Windows ) didn’t activate/use it, so you can still do all the vac and godmode in game.

1big improvement i made i guess was to make the html alot smaller than my old layouts. The first one i made was lyk, 60 ~80kb? Then subsequently reduced to around 30kb, den the previous one was around... 16~20kb.

But this time, this is only 12kb. So well. Kinda happy with that. hahas.

We had dance fusion competition today. It wasn't bad i guess. I mean, there's quite a big difference between the sec1s and 2s. Well, even though the 2s are better in their overall cheorography of their dance. The 2s had obviously alot lesser energy in it.

But the 1s seems to be giving their all? That's the difference i think. 1C won. Not because their dance is exactly good or truely infused different cultures. But it's because of their enthusiasm and that it is funny.

And that they dared to do somethings that girls of our level won't dare to do.

And, HEY. It's not me who's sick. Is the teacher teach us one. 1C's dance grp name is "banana and cherries" And the teacher actually used a mike and said. "who has the bananas and who has the cherries?"

I COMMEND HIM FOR HIS BRAVERY.
Which made many female teachers went OMG. So, i mean, in exchange for fame, he has probably tarnished his reputation. He seems to be lookin forward to sexy dances put up by the students. Maybe nxt time i can exchange some pointers with him.

Not a bad anime at all! Pretty nice i must say. Too bad it lacks some ecchi in it.

Ah. Just finish downloading Transformers. The quality isn't that good though. Kinda don't mind. Kinda mind. Since the main reason why i want to watch it is because of the graphics. Now i think i've upgraded the things around me sufficiently. Guess it's time to upgrade myself.

Will be wasting my time alot. I guess. I wonder if my mum can understand. She wants to take me for counselling, for being addicted to computer. GAMES. Well, since she only thinks tt i play games the whole day. It's just too life-consuming to argue with her that i am not playing.

(though i admit it SEEMS to be that way) It's more like, i totally lost all my interest for studies and only want to concentrate on learning computer. I mean, barracades of codes scares away people. I have changed my windows to kinda. REAAAAALLLLY look alot like Vista. Abit ram consuming. But not as much as the real vista does. Just that some functions doesn't work lah. Which is kinda sad which is something i don't really wanna brood over.

So.

I'll keep updating and "renewing" the system. HOPEFULLY, it runs faster. And i will not run into the blue screen of death.

Ah, dreamweaver is a really hard program to use once u're used to just writing out html on the notepad. It's auto complete function is good, yet so frustrating. It autocompletes almost EVERYTHING for you.
Let's take a short review on what it does.

-Auto complete
-Auto open tags
-Auto alternate table when dragged
-Practically transforms most of the things into XML
-Does auto centering position of elements
-many other restriction options

I mean, unless u're a real HTML idiot, or someone who just can't write some clean codings. Then this is TRUELY a suitable program for you. Or mayb i shld just get over with it and learn how to use the program properly.

Went to the punggol carnival. It was more like a pasam malam to me. So freaking extensive for a carnival.

Carnival is supposed to be held at a single location. Right?
But this freaking one is held at like, 8blocks or smth lyk that. They even sealed up the road for a roadshow. It's kinda "grand" ya noe.

So anyways. When i was going back. I suddenly realised tt i was lost. I cycled 3times around the carnival area. 2times around a group of blocks. And 1time around half the whole area.

Den, i cycled 1FULL round around the whole punggol estate. Well, i got really pissed. And followed the LRT track and finally reach a place i'm familiar with. Let's sae, a lesson learnt. The dumb way.

Hmm. Since i'm treating tis smth as my diary, might as well just write this down.

Seems lyk. Lately, i don't know if i'm the one swirling in circles. Or i am the stationary one while other people are moving.

But seems that people i not so close with, became closer with me. Those people who are closer to me. Became kinda further from me. I mean, if it's one or two, it's purely logical. But, if it is like, a whole bunch that kinda changed their attitude or what so eva.

It just feels so damn strange.

My computer only has 256mb of ram.

OH WELLS.
That explains why it's so damn f***ing slow. And hence, i've begged my dad to get me a 1GB ram. Even though i wanted 2GB, it's so sad this stupid computer can't support it. Oh yawns.

But, today, i had crab for dinner. And it suddenly made me rmbed what i wanted to sae.

Have u ever gotten frustrated because u can't reach the inner side of the crab meat? Or it's hard to open and it comes out in little little pieces? All sorts of difficulty right?

I mean, in my dad's family, ALMOST ALL of them could eat a crab WITH. A PAIR OF CHOPSTICKS, AND A FORK.
I mean it's lyk. WAD THE F?

Oh yea, u probably can't believe it, but it's true. I see him PEEL off the shell of the crab, and u see, THE MEAT ISN'T SPOILED AT ALL. It's STILL IN ONE F***ING BIG PIECE.

He takes his chopsticks, make a few twist, and POPS. THE WHOLE PIECE OF CRAB MEAT CAME OUT. I mean, CRAP LAH.
Trust me, you see le sure thing that is CRAP. Cuz they made me feel so stupid when i had trouble taking off the shell even using my hands, while they did it using those crap and didn't dirty their hand. AT ALL. ==

That's one of the most amazing food u can eat without dirtying ur hands. And, ONLY USING CHOPSTICKS, he could lyk, PERFECTLY slice out the fish meat, leaving JUST the bones behind. I mean, it's PERFECT. No bones inside the meat, no meat left on the bones.

This is so gay. I'm gonna ask him to teach me how to do that someday.

So well, due to some unexpected circumstances, i found myself at the brink of the grand closure of all the saloons n barbers. So i rushed to Rivervale mall. To find that wonderful ClOSED sign hung outside the door.

So without MUCH hesitations, i rushed to Compass Point to my usual hair saloon. Oh yea. It is one saloon i recommend dude. It's still open. I hurried into it. Placed my money into that money eating machine. And out pops a card in exchange for my money. So i was invited to sit down, where i was cloaked and set to rest.

Hence, the chopping of the grass begin. Well, it was all going well. Until she started cutting my fringe. Well, i was hesitant at first. But well, WHAT'S WRONG CUTTING IT? Oh well. She asked me along the way quite a few times for opinions on how i want to cut my hair.
Well, my answer was direct.

Science project. It's finally coming out.
It finally has a pretty neat theme, slides, animations and all that. I have also already prepared the FIRST sentence i'm gonna sae before i start the powerpoint.

Oh wells. It took somehow one heck of a time to do the animations properly. Main reason probably because i side-tract lyk hell.

There is a competition for the soccer club i joined recently. And i didn't go for it. Well, tired mah. And dunno lah, give the coach bad impression, who cares? That's what i'm good at anyways. It's a nice show. Pretty nice i must sae. And somehow the things happening around me made me became kinda interested in 3D-graphics and animations. I mean, it must have took a heck lot of time to make the 3D-animations come out right and nice.

And i feel tt tis blog is becoming more n more lyk a diary. Reason? I'm practically typing my whole day almost everyday. Though it seems tt i now lyk 2days update one time liao. Cuz, always forget lah. Busy doing other stuffs.

And i realised that. When smsing someone, if u don't sae. "eh, i can't sms liao (den state ur reason)", the conversation will last for the whole day, and maybe a few days. ==?

Oh yea, i'm getting more organised on my computer now. Like, there are alot more codenames rather den just the normal stupid file names. Well, i used tt kind of formatting for the Sci project. Hence there will be words lyk Jsci2, VM2K.

Oh wells, just now the sci project folder hit a nice 167mb. Well, it reduced to 60mb awhile ltr though. I wonder if the teacher's computer will lag anot. Cuz lyk quite alot of graphics, audio n animations. Lol, though it looks kinda clean n simple.

And i realised that i really got alot of influencial POWER. Like, those type of super-powers. I made quite alot of people feel lyk slping when sitting beside me in class. People who came to my room before almost immediately felt like sleeping. Guess i'm living a sleepy life.
