i'm officially gone from singapore from 23rd May till 31st May.

miss me all u want, it wouldn't speed up the returning. Oh yawns. I'm so damn tired right now. Haven't even pack finish on the day of departure. Haix. There's a limit to how lazy a person can get i guess.

Umm... 2days nv post liao. Sry for those who come ah. I'm lyk.. too freaking tired. I think i slpt at around 8+ ytd. And woke up at 8+ today. 12hrs of slp. Still feeling tired.

Somehow it just feels very good. Well. At least they've made very good improvements. From the point where they start incooperating with Google. Things have been getting better by the day.

We played around almost the whole day. The whole class went into slient n vibrating mode when our teacher handed out our results. The new craze in our class is Chinese Chess. Something that though i'm not exactly very good in, it's smth that some people who are no better off than me.

Free4all. Nearly all of us failed the same subj. Except for QinHui. The only bastard whom i think passed all. Seems that we nid to learn from him. Be kia su. Die die also MUST study. AT LEAST ALITTLE BIT. And, if u don't want to study. Den go tuition and do ur hw properly.

I love the time where there are no teachers in class, our classmates played chinese chess and there can be up to 10people crowding at a chess set looking at 2people play. The virtue in chinese chess is...
1. Lift hand no put back
2. On-lookers shld be quiet at all times

But for us, lift hand can go back up to more than 5steps. Onlookers can not only advise the player. He or she could EVEN move the chess piece for him/her.

Had a DATE with Xin Ni. But ended up with YanHao n LianKai. John supposed to come, but for some reasons he didn't. Jas n pam also supposed to watch with us. And for many undesribable reasons, they're late.

So heck-caring abt that... I've regretably made XN waited for 30mins while stoning while the 3guys did smth stupid at the arcade. I couldn't sae that it wasn't fun being idiotic, but i couldn't sae that being idiotic is exactly fun.

So... We watched SpiderMan3. Shan't give u any spoilers. It's not bad. I LOVE THE ANIMATIONS. I really wonder how long n how they did those effects. It perfectly blends into the whole show without those lousy chinese drama graphics.

Sigh, if only if i had the program. I'll play with it until i master the whole thing.

Yesterday my travel agent at Ken Brothers Reliant Air Travel call me and tell me got special offer on an "eco-holiday".

In Batam.

I say, "Batam is normally for cheeko-holiday, what eco-holiday."

He say, "Eco-holiday is mean go and appreciate nature one, lah. This is a special tour to help save the fish in Batam. You know Indonesia got a lot of trouble, so if we don'ch support them, then all their fish also liao."

I say, "What the fish are you talking about?"

He say, "Just go lah! Damn cheap, and some more I will give you free bag."

I say, "Like that is on, lah!"

And so I take my nephew go Batam with me.

We boarded the ferry at the World Trade Centre, and arrived at Batu Ampar Terminal.

I like travelling by sea. I find it very, how you say, liberating. My nephew also seems to agree, as the boat trip liberated the lunch from his stomach.

At Batu Ampar, we met our tour guide, Jameson, who hurried us on board a small bus.

Jameson told us that we would be taken to the Wildlife Sanctuary, I guess to see the fishes we came to help save.

There were seven of us in the tour group. I was the only woman, for some reason. The rest were old and middle-aged men. I guess as you grow old, you feel more strongly about preserving wildlife for your enjoyment.

I immediately go and whack the back of my nephew's head and tell him he should learn from these good men's example.

Jameson was actually surprised to see me. He said women normally don't like this sort of "rugged, adventure" tour. I said, "I don'ch really like to take part in the physical stuff, lah. But I don'ch mind watching."

He shrugged and said, "Whatever."

After about 20 minutes, we reached the centre of Nagoya - and the Wildlife Sanctuary Karaoke Massage Parlour.

The men got very excited, no doubt about the wildlife they were about to encounter.

"So where's the fish?" I asked Jameson, who looked at me in a strange way. He waved us all inside.

It was a very small place, but it had a very large fish tank in the lobby.

"Nah," said Jameson to me. "There's your fish."

I was a bit confused. "How come you need to save these fish? Got tank already, what."

He seemed irritated and said, "Indonesian government want to get rid of all the wildlife sanctuaries on Batam. We all go, then got no fish."

"So how are we supposed to save the fish?" I ask him.

My nephew got very excited and said, "Auntie! Auntie! I know! The other men told me that all I have to do is sing karaoke. All the money will go towards maintaining the fish! And it's very easy - got some girl to even hold the mike for me. For a little extra donation, she will even sing into my mike! And for a few more rupiah, we can do duet."

"Quite clever, hor? Like 'Live Aid', like that." I said. "Okay, lah. I sponsor you go and sing-song, lor. Come!"

But for some reason, the si noong kia was not happy.

"What's the matter?" I ask him.

"I... I'm shy," he said. "Can you not watch me sing-song with the girl? I think I cannot perform."

"Kum pooi!" I shouted at him. "I pay good money and you do'wan to let me watch? You think you who?"

In the background, I heard Jameson say to one of the waitresses. "These orang Singapura, ah, all bloody kinky."

After that, I felt a bit pai seh. I don'ch know what "kinky" means, but maybe he think I bully my nephew.

"Okay, lah," I told my nephew. "You go. Don't take too long."

Then the si noong kia like damn happy like that, he ran into one of the private rooms. I stayed outside to watch the fish.

I also donno what's so special about these fish. Look like ordinary aquarium like that. But then, what do I know?

I must say, hor, my nephew's karaoke singing is very bad. It sounded a lot like he was moaning and groaning. But then, the girl also sing like that, so maybe this is how nowsaday the chewrens sing.

After about twenty minutes, my nephew came out, and he looked very tired. I ask him, what happen?

He said, "My mike got no power."

Anyway, after all the nice men had sung their songs to save the fishes, we took the ferry back to WTC.

I thought the tour got nothing much to see, but my nephew said, "There got a lot to do. Only I got no stamina to keep doing." He said he would train by himself until he was strong enough to go back.

I must say, hor, I am impressed by my nephew. I never thought he would become so passionate about the wild life in Batam, but now, nearly every weekend he goes there.

Maybe it's a man thing.

Uh, i can think of 2~3possible reasons.
The 1st thing, is because blogger is trying to shift onto the new "system / server" which is the www.2blogger.com
Since there are some old accounts which haven't been transferred, and they haven't deleted them, there is somesort of "overcrowding" happening. Cuz 2different types of systems is quite troublesome to maintain with 1server.

Well, anyways, the next most possible reason is because that blogger is under-going maintainence, but since it's cooperating with google, it's possible that they're borrowing google's server while doing the maintainence on blogger's own server. Hence, sometimes, the pages might not load fully or take a very long time to load. Since many people are SORT OF accessing the "same" file.

Reflected on the multi-racial society in which we live, and the progress of Malays in our society.

Isn't our country wonderful, that Ahmad gets to drive a luxury car everyday?

Clearly, we are a prosperous nation.

School was typical: Got top marks in Maths again. Most GEP kids are great in maths.

It's because we're intellectually gifted, you see. The maths problems are just so easy to us.

I wonder why other kids find it tough? Well, they have only themselves to blame! It's all so easy to become intellectually gifted at maths!

Just hire tuition teachers.

They must be cheap, because Daddy got me one for every subject.

Sometimes I think we're gifted because we have tuition teachers.

After all, despite what the school teaches us or says they want to teach us, we're ultimately graded on the basis of standardised tests, and it's the tuition teachers who drill us for that.

I think we should replace all the regular teachers with tuition teachers. I mean, why waste time? Let's just focus on what counts!

They say the GEP was set up so we faster kids don't get held back.

But I must admit, I feel held back even with the GEP. I guess I'm really light years ahead.

Maybe to slow things down, I'll ask my tuition teachers not to teach me so far ahead of my school, and also to ease up on the drilling a bit.

As it is, I can pass the 'O' Levels, but Dad said I should do it next year instead.

He said, "What's the rush? Enjoy your childhood. Anyway, you're already taking your SATs."

When Ahmad drove me back from school, I saw some kids running around in a field, kicking a spherical object.

It saddened me to think that even though they appeared to be my age, they were indulging in such primitive hobbies.

I mean, why aren't they splitting atoms like we GEP kids?

Surely their parents can afford particle accelerators too!

But I guess this is why we're gifted and they're not.

Sad, but true.



Oh wells, hope u enjoyed it. And umm, today's exams was a killer. I set a record though. Geography paper:1hr  HCL:1hr10min10secs.
that's the time taken for me to complete them.

My principle? If u can't answer it after attempting it 3 or more times, forget about it. Give it as a present to the teacher. Well, the only accomplishment that i'm proud of is that i'm able to FILL up ALL the blanks.

Finally, a glismp of hope that i won't fail or do TOOOOOOO badly. =)

Following a speech in which MM Lee warned that a big accident involving the PAP, like the sinking of a ferry with 3000 PAP Members on board, would mean the certain collapse of Singapore, the PAP has cancelled a planned ferry excursion scheduled for next month.

The PAP also issued a stern warning to all members that they always try to gather in groups of less than 5 members when traveling.

“We are extremely grateful that MM Lee pointed this out to us”, said PAP spokesman Mr. Sah Kah Chua, “We actually planned a trip to Indonesia next month and had chartered a rusty old hulk to bring all our key members for a vaca… uh, I mean strategy planning session in Bali to, um, plot how to, uh, best spend our salary increase.”

When asked what kind of ferry can hold 3000 people, Mr. Sah could not elaborate but he said that if people are packed tightly enough it’s amazing what can be achieved, “just look at our prisons, I promise you it can be done”.

Apparently the ferry had been decommissioned for several years after failing Indonesian seaworthiness certification and was being sold for scrap to Bangladesh. However, the PAP got a sweet deal and had booked it for a final voyage to Bali. “PM Lee’s wife has some real solid lobang to get great deals,” said Mr. Sah. “I mean, some of us thought the ferry was a bit lau pok, lah, but if it’s chosen by PM’s family, it must be good, right? The people who bought Shin Corp can't be wrong.”

Apparently, MM Lee had not been informed about the trip when he hypothesized the catastrophe. Mr. Sah gushed, “We didn’t tell MM about the trip! It was just a pure coincidence that he mentioned it. It’s scary to think what could have happened! Amazingly he might have saved the country once again!”

When asked why the PAP did not inform MM Lee about a big trip involving the very party he founded, Mr. Sah squirmed in his seat and said, “PM said not to, and something about his lau peh needing to take over every bleddy island he sets foot upon.”

In related news, the Media Development Authority has commissioned two films to drive home MM Lee's messages. The first is an adaptation of 'Poseidon' by multimillionaire filmmaker Derek Koh titled 'Sink With Me', while the second is a weepie by comedian Hack Neo titled 'I Not Overpaid', about poor rich people being beaten up by evil peasants.

NOT BAD. I must sae. There is an improvement in the graphics and animation. Esp. the animation. It has certainly gotten better. It isn't as lame as some others have claimed. Guess i'll follow the series just like bleach.

can't wait for Bleach 125. It should be an interesting battle. I just hope they don't talk for a full 20min b4 starting which is the end. Oh yea, got an anime to recommend.

In fact, i went into my bed at 10pm. Flipped, turned, jerk, around. Still didn't get to slp. UNTIL 12. haix, woke up at 5.55am. Feeling freaking tired. 

Today, Jav, Jos, MC, Eekwee. Came to my hse.

Played around, fooled around. Den they taupok me. Held me down. For some specific reasons not suitable to be disclosed here. Well, anyways, managed to break the hold. Since i've been struggling so that they won't all get on top of me. Dangerous.
