I found smth REALLY interesting to write today. It's abt the
Politeness of singaporeans
Yea, i wrote a chinese compo abt it today. It sets me thinkin. And my encounter today back home made me write this post. Hmm, the polite level of singaporeans, i guess i've no choice but to rate it as LOW. ya, i hear some boos, and some agreements. But u see, everday in live, how much insults, stares will u get each day?
I shall start with my encounter juz now. See, i brought a ball to sch to play la. den when going home, the bus very crowded, so i placed the ball inbetween my legs to hold it firmly. Ok, i shall complain abt the bus driver 1st. I dun think he got his driver license legally, he was lyk accelerating full den press the brake down suddenly. Jerking the bus. All the commuters standing was lyk shaking shakin shakin.
I guess wad that is in everyone's mind is : WAD THE HECK IS TIS DRIVER DOING? It's sure a crazy ride when it's the feelin of when u may fall onto other people. As i shake and shake around, my football got loose and slipped from my feets. so duh~ I tried to get it back, but in the process i accidentally kinda.... "step" not exactly, but sort of haf some contact with another woman's feet.
Den she was lyk OO Staring angrily at me, despite the fact that i said sorry the instant i realise it. Izzit that bad? It was intentionally. =/ Though i'm in the wrong, i dun think there's a need to be so frustrated over it. You could juz be polite and sae smth lyk. " it's okay" or "nvm".
rite? It makes me think back of how inpolite singaporeans are. Esp. some of the middle aged ladies or some teenagers... Well, i guess it also makes people reflect on their bad attitude towards others as well. We wish for forgivenss from others when we do smth wrong, yet when others do us wrong, we find it so difficult to forgive others. So i guess we shld juz treat others how we wish they would treat us back.
rite?
